Board Room Media Instructions 

 

How to power up and begin 

  1. Press the red power button on the top left of the Samsung TV remote.

  1. Shake the mouse.

  1. Login with your KCKCC (Kansas City Kansas Community College) credentials.  

 

  • You will use the mouse and keyboard on the table to log in.

How to set up a Teams meeting 

  1. Double-click on the via Teams icon. Alternatively, click the Teams meeting link from an email or calendar invite. 

  1. When the meeting screen starts, choose “video.” 

  1. When finished, “End the Meeting.”  

 

  • Speaker and microphone settings should not be changed at this time.  

 

 

 

 

How to set up a Zoom Meeting  

  1. Use the KCKCC.zoom.us website for Zoom meetings. Alternatively, you can click the Zoom meeting link from an email or calendar invite. 

  1. Use your KCKCC credentials to sign in.  

  1. Click on “Join with Computer Audio.” 

  1. Click on “Start Video.” 

  1. When finished with your meeting, click on “End.” 

 

  • Speaker and microphone settings should not be changed at this time.  

 

 

 

How to connect a laptop  

  1. Plug in the HDMI cord (in the drawer at the front of the table closest to the TV) to your laptop.

  1. Plug the HDMI cord into the service tray nearest the TV screen.

  1. Plug in the HDMI cord to your laptop.

  1. click “Source” on the TV using the Samsung Remote.

  1. Choose PC on TV, then press “ok” on the remote.  

 

  • You can only plug the HDMI cord into your laptop at the front of the table, closest to the TV.  

 

 

    

Changing the camera 

  • Currently, the default camera is the OWL setup, and it will look like this on the screen:

  • If you need to change from the Owl camera to the Aver camera for a Zoom meeting, Select the chevron next to the Camera icon, then check the Aver Cam 520 Pro 2 from the menu.

  • When you select the AVer Cam520, your view will look like this:

  • To change the selected camera during a Teams meeting, select the settings cog highlighted below and change to the AVer Cam 520 from the video menu.

  • When you select the AVer Cam520, your view will look like this:

To move the camera, find the Aver Remote in the drawer.

Use the arrow keys to move the camera up and down or side to side.
