Unavailable Services
During the SaaS Migration period from 8pm January 12th until 8am January 19th, the Registrar's Office will be unable to perform a number of the tasks that KCKCC faculty, staff, and students have come to expect. The registrar's office will be unable to process:
- Student record changes/Major changes – students will not be able to fill them out online, and we will not be able to receive them.
- Enrollment verifications – with no access to the system, we cannot see records, and we can not verify anything.
- Withdrawals – Administrative and Student – unable to complete online.
- Late no shows can not be submitted
- Reinstatements
- Graduation applications
- No online graduation applications can be submitted during the down period.
- Unable to graduate any late application
- Official and unofficial transcripts – no out going transcripts will be processed – not on Parchment nor by print. We can accept online via Parchment and the National Student Clearinghouse. We can also accept transcripts through the mail, but we can not log them
- Grade changes
- Transfer equivalencies
- The Parchment/Smart Panda process needs to be halted during this time
- Hold detail requests
How to Work Around the Downtime
- Paper forms can be collected, to be processed once SaaS is live, for the following actions:
- Student record changes/Major changes
- Withdrawals – Administrative and Student
- Graduation applications
- Incoming transcripts can be accepted via Parchment and the National Student Clearinghouse
- Transcripts can also be accepted by mail, but cannot be logged in the system until SaaS goes live.
- All other actions must either be done by the end of the day on the 12th or when the system comes back on the 19th.
